Urbandale Dollars for Scholars Awarded 2022 Dr. Irving Fradkin Legacy Award to Provide More Impact for Students

Urbandale Dollars for Scholars is thrilled to announce it has been awarded a 2022 Dr. Irving Fradkin Legacy Impactful Scholarship Award of $2,500 from Scholarship America! This award will be utilized to supplement need-based scholarships to provide five 2023 Urbandale High School graduating seniors with $1,000 scholarships to help reduce barriers to a high quality college education.

About Urbandale Dollars for Scholars® 

The Urbandale Dollars for Scholars® is the oldest Dollars for Scholars charter in Iowa and is focused on expanding both the number and amount of scholarships awarded to Urbandale High School graduates. Scholarship America's Dollars for Scholars® program is a national network of nearly 1,100 local chapters driven by local volunteers that help hometown students in over 3,000 communities across the country. In addition to raising funds and distributing scholarships for students, chapters also provide assistance with college readiness and the financial aid process.
